Reviewed September 26, 2026. Research-based review of Gumloop's official pricing page — not a hands-on benchmark. Jet Admin publishes this comparison and is a competing product.
Gumloop is an AI agent platform. Its pricing page lists two plans — Pro from $37 a month and Enterprise on a quote — with no free tier, and it labels its workflow features "Workflows (Legacy)".
The subscription is the small part of the bill. What you actually pay is driven by credits at $0.005 each, plus an 8% orchestration fee on every run — or 16% if you bring your own model key.
Gumloop review: the quick verdict
| Strong reasons to consider Gumloop | Trade-offs to evaluate |
|---|---|
| Unlimited agents, seats and teams on both tiers | No free tier — a 14-day trial, then $37/month |
| Bring your own API keys, 35+ models | An 8% orchestration fee on every run, 16% on BYOK |
| 20,000 credits included on Pro | Overage costs 2.7× the included credit rate |
| Company Brain and GitHub Skill Sync for context | Workflows are labelled "Legacy"; governance is Enterprise-only |
No numerical score is given, because we did not run a scored hands-on evaluation.
What is Gumloop?
Gumloop builds AI agents that connect to your tools and do work. The pricing page frames it around agents, Company Brain context, connector policies and MCP hosting. The company announced a $50M Series B led by Benchmark.
The workflow builder that made Gumloop's earlier reputation is still present, but under a heading marked "Workflows (Legacy)", with concurrent workflow runs and queuing as its remaining published limits.
Why this matters for your research. Comparisons placing Gumloop against Zapier and Make as a workflow tool are describing the part of the product the vendor itself calls legacy. Establish which half you are buying before evaluating anything else.
Gumloop's key features
1. Unlimited agents, seats and teams
Both Pro and Enterprise list unlimited agents, unlimited seats and unlimited teams. In a category where seats are the standard cost axis, that is a genuine structural advantage — you are never charged for adding a colleague.
2. Bring your own API keys, across 35+ models
Pro supports 35+ models and BYOK; Enterprise adds custom proxy support. Running on your own keys moves model spend to your provider account rather than through Gumloop's credit conversion.
3. Credits with a published unit value
One credit is $0.005, so $1 buys 200. Pro includes 20,000 credits a month. A run's cost has four components: Chat & Reasoning (the model's cost converted at $0.005 per credit), Tool Calls (minimum one credit per successful call), Compute (5 credits per session-minute) and the orchestration fee.
4. Company Brain and GitHub Skill Sync
Both tiers include Company Brain — organisational context agents can draw on — and GitHub Skill Sync. For agents meant to act on your business rather than in the abstract, context is what makes them useful.
5. MCP hosting and a CLI
Pro includes hosting for one MCP server; Enterprise is custom and adds MCP server proxying. Gumloop MCP and a CLI are on both tiers, an unusually open developer surface for this category.
Gumloop pros
Seat-free pricing at both tiers
Unlimited seats and teams on a $37 plan is the clearest commercial argument for Gumloop. If your constraint is headcount rather than volume, nothing else on this list competes.
The credit formula is fully published
Four named components, a stated credit value of $0.005, and a stated compute rate of 5 credits per session-minute. That makes a Gumloop bill genuinely modellable before you commit — better than most credit-metered platforms in this series.
BYOK can substantially reduce the credit bill
With your own key, Chat & Reasoning stops consuming credits. Because reasoning dominates most agent runs, that is usually the single biggest lever on your Gumloop cost — with the caveat in the limitations below.
A developer surface, not a closed box
An MCP server, MCP integration and a CLI on the entry plan means engineers can work with Gumloop rather than around it.
Gumloop cons and limitations
The orchestration fee applies to the whole run
The 8% is calculated on the combined total of Chat & Reasoning, Tool Calls and Compute — so it scales with everything the agent does, rather than being a fixed charge.
The BYOK wrinkle is the part that catches people. Bringing your own key raises the fee from 8% to 16%, and the 16% is calculated on the run's value before the model-credit waiver — not on the smaller remaining compute and tool charges. So the fee base does not shrink when your model costs leave the credit bill.
What to do: compare the combined total, not the fee percentage. BYOK is still usually cheaper in Gumloop credits when reasoning dominates, but the real question is whether your negotiated model rates beat Gumloop's $0.005-per-credit conversion. Our Gumloop pricing guide works this through with numbers.
Overage is a materially worse rate
Included credits work out at roughly $0.00185 each ($37 ÷ 20,000). Overage is $0.005 each — about 2.7× more. Credits do not roll over on Pro; Enterprise can negotiate rollover.
What to do: size your usage to stay inside 20,000 where you can, because crossing that line is a rate change rather than a smooth extension. And lower the overage cap — Pro's default is 1,000,000 credits, which is $5,000.
There is no free tier
Pro and Enterprise only, with a 14-day trial rather than a permanent free plan.
Who it affects: anyone wanting to evaluate over time or run something small indefinitely. What to do: plan your evaluation inside 14 days, and use it to measure credit burn per run rather than to admire the builder.
Workflows are labelled legacy
If workflow automation is your actual requirement, building on a feature the vendor has marked legacy is a risk — not because it will stop working tomorrow, but because roadmap attention has visibly moved.
What to do: ask what "Legacy" means for support and development, and whether existing workflows have a migration path to agents.
Governance is entirely Enterprise-only
Role-based access control, SCIM/SAML, an admin dashboard, audit logs, custom data retention, security reports, data exports, AI spend insights, VPC and AI model access control are all Enterprise features. Pro has connector policies at agent scope rather than org-wide.
Who it affects: any organisation with a security review. On Pro there is essentially no governance layer, so a compliance requirement means Enterprise and a quote.
What do Gumloop users say?
We did not verify a current aggregate rating on G2 or Capterra for this review, so no score is cited. The figures above come from Gumloop's own pricing page and credits documentation.
One caution: ratings accumulated against the workflow-era product may not describe the agent platform it has become. If peer evidence matters, ask for reference customers using agents specifically.
Gumloop pricing in 2026
Read from Gumloop's pricing page on September 26, 2026. USD. Our Gumloop pricing guide breaks the credit formula into its four components and works through an agent at two volumes.
| Plan | Price | Credits | Agents / seats / teams | Orchestration fee | Governance |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | From $37/month, 14-day trial | 20,000/month, no rollover | Unlimited | 8%, or 16% on BYOK | Agent-scoped connector policies only |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom, rollover negotiable | Unlimited | Discounts available | RBAC, SCIM/SAML, audit logs, VPC, data exports |
One credit is $0.005. Compute is 5 credits per session-minute — $0.025 a minute, or $1.50 per hour of active processing. Pro includes 35+ models, BYOK, Company Brain, GitHub Skill Sync, shared credentials, 1 hosted MCP server, Gumloop MCP and CLI, 5 concurrent legacy workflow runs and 25 concurrent agent chats.
Why the step out of the allowance matters. Because overage is 2.7× the included rate, tripling your agent volume can multiply the bill by considerably more than three. That non-linearity, not the $37, is the thing to model before rolling an agent out widely.
Jet Admin vs. Gumloop: which should you evaluate?
| Priority | What to evaluate |
|---|---|
| Deploying AI agents across your tools | Gumloop is built for this |
| An interface your team works in over your own data | Jet Admin connects to Postgres, MySQL and APIs |
| Unlimited seats | Both: Gumloop on both tiers, Jet Admin on every plan |
| Predictable monthly cost | Jet Admin is flat. Gumloop adds credits plus a percentage fee, with a 2.7× overage rate |
| Running on your own model keys | Gumloop supports BYOK across 35+ models |
| Credit rollover | None on Gumloop Pro; Jet Admin lists 1-month rollover on Pro and Business |
| Audit logs, SSO and RBAC without an enterprise contract | Enterprise-only on Gumloop. Jet Admin lists them on Business ($100/month, $80 annually) |

When Gumloop is the better choice
For genuinely agentic work — research, unstructured triage, tasks where the sequence is not knowable in advance — Gumloop's model access, MCP support and BYOK option are the point, and no application layer substitutes for that.
Who should use Gumloop — and who should compare alternatives?
Good fit: teams deploying AI agents rather than deterministic workflows; organisations with many users, since seats are free; teams with their own model keys who want to control model spend.
Compare alternatives if: workflow automation is the actual requirement and "Legacy" concerns you; you need a free tier or longer than 14 days to evaluate; you need governance without an Enterprise contract; or a percentage fee plus a 2.7× overage rate is unacceptable for budgeting.
If the requirement is an operational interface over data you already hold, build it in Jet Admin and compare on billing shape as well as capability.
Gumloop review FAQ
Is Gumloop free?
No. The pricing page shows Pro from $37 a month with a 14-day trial, and Enterprise at custom pricing. There is no permanent free plan.
What is Gumloop's orchestration fee charged on?
The combined total of Chat & Reasoning, Tool Calls and Compute for a run — 8% on Pro. It rises to 16% with your own API key, and that 16% is calculated on the run's pre-waiver value rather than the reduced total.
What is a Gumloop credit worth?
$0.005, so $1 buys 200 credits. Overage is billed at the same $0.005, which is about 2.7× the effective rate of included credits.
Does Gumloop charge per seat?
No. Agents, seats and teams are unlimited on both tiers.
Do Gumloop credits roll over?
Not on Pro. Enterprise plans can negotiate rollover.
Are Gumloop workflows being discontinued?
The pricing page labels them "Workflows (Legacy)", which signals reduced roadmap attention rather than a stated end date. Ask Gumloop about support and any migration path to agents.
How does Gumloop compare with Jet Admin?
Gumloop runs AI agents with unlimited seats and BYOK; Jet Admin builds the internal tools your team uses over your own databases and APIs, on flat plans. Agents versus interfaces decides it.
Measure one agent run, then check it against 20,000
Run your agent ten times during the trial, read the credit breakdown, and multiply by realistic monthly volume. Then compare the result with the 20,000 allowance — because the step into overage is a 2.7× rate change, not a gentle slope. And lower that $5,000 overage cap before you ship.
If the breakdown shows reasoning credits being spent on decisions a person should make, put that step behind a review interface and re-measure what the agent still needs to do.
