UI Bakery cloud pricing includes Free, Builder, Team, and a custom Enterprise plan. Builder costs $25 per developer per month, or $20 with annual billing; Team costs $40 monthly, or $35 annually. The key distinction is between paid developers, workspace viewers, and public app users: multiplying the developer rate by everyone who uses an app can overstate the bill.

What each plan includes
Free
Free provides a way to build and test apps with data connections and a hosted database. The page lists unlimited public app users, but the workspace-viewer allowance is not a numerical free entitlement. Do not infer that Free includes 50 authenticated workspace viewers from the paid-plan rows.
Builder
Builder adds app and data-source environments, app export, built-in roles, and up to 50 workspace viewers. It fits a small development team operating an app for a larger group, provided the built-in access model is sufficient. Count the people editing applications separately from those only using them.
Team
Team adds role-based access control, audit logs, and premium support, with a larger AI development allowance per developer. The upgrade decision should follow your access and accountability needs. Keeping the same viewer count does not mean Builder and Team deliver the same governance.
Enterprise
Enterprise is the conversation for more than 50 workspace viewers, custom SSO, dedicated infrastructure, or additional services. Request a quote using developers and viewers as separate quantities. An application with many anonymous public users is not automatically the same licensing case as a private workspace with many staff members.
Who counts as a billable developer?
UI Bakery defines a developer as a user with at least one role that permits editing apps, automations, or data sources. A workspace viewer is an end user other than a developer who can access the workspace. Public app users are a separate category, listed as unlimited. These definitions appear in the pricing comparison.
For a deployment within the paid viewer allowance, the base calculation is developer count × the selected plan’s developer rate. Then add applicable automation capacity and any other purchased services. Review roles when estimating seats: someone who normally views an app can still qualify as a developer if their assigned permissions allow editing.
What does UI Bakery cost for a 20- or 50-person app?
Assume both deployments need Team for RBAC and audit logs. The inputs are illustrative, all developers stay on the selected plan for a full year, and AI usage remains within the included allowance.
| Input or result | 20 people | 50 people |
|---|---|---|
| Developers | 2 | 3 |
| Workspace viewers | 18 | 47 |
| Monthly Team base | 2 × $40 = $80 | 3 × $40 = $120 |
| Annual Team base | 2 × $35 × 12 = $840 | 3 × $35 × 12 = $1,260 |
| Annual monthly equivalent | $70 | $105 |
| Assumed monthly automation executions | 4,000 | 9,000 |
| Extra automation capacity | None | One extra 5,000-execution block: $50 |
| Monthly-billing total | $80 | $170 |
The larger scenario remains below 50 workspace viewers because its three developers are excluded from that viewer count. Its monthly total is $120 + $50 = $170. If all 50 people received editing permissions instead, the seat calculation would change substantially. The annual base figures above exclude the automation add-on; confirm the add-on billing schedule before turning them into an annual invoice estimate.
Automation and other costs to check
The comparison lists 1,000 monthly automation executions for Free and 5,000 for Builder and Team, with $50 for each additional 5,000. Server-side actions share that allowance with scheduled jobs and webhooks. AI development credits are a different meter: do not deduct automation executions from a dollar-denominated AI balance. Automation and AI allowances.
Also review database capacity, any paid external services, and the work needed to build and maintain the app. More than 50 workspace viewers or custom SSO changes the procurement question to Enterprise pricing; do not extend the public developer price indefinitely and assume the rest is included.
Jet Admin vs UI Bakery: cost and fit
For the displayed 50,000-credit selections, Jet Admin Pro costs $20 month to month or $16 per month with annual billing ($192 a year). Business costs $100 month to month or $80 per month annually ($960 a year). Business adds granular permissions, SSO, and audit logs. All plans include unlimited users, apps, and workflows; AI building allowances and other resources still have limits. Enterprise deployment is quoted separately.
For the 20-person scenario without automation overages, UI Bakery Team’s annual base is $840. Jet Admin Business is $960 at the displayed credit selection: Jet Admin is $120 more per year on those base subscriptions. With three developers, UI Bakery Team’s base becomes $1,260, compared with $960 for Jet Admin Business. These are useful reference points, not complete equivalence claims.
Validate the same data connections, permissions, audit requirements, and workflow behavior before treating the difference as savings. UI Bakery can be economical when a small developer group serves many viewers within its allowance. Jet Admin’s unlimited-builder model may fit a broader group maintaining apps, but its AI credits and other resource limits still apply. Switching also requires rebuilding or migrating and testing the app.

Which UI Bakery plan should you choose?
Use Free for evaluation. Choose Builder when built-in roles and its viewer allowance fit. Move to Team for its documented governance and support features. Ask for Enterprise pricing when viewer counts or SSO requirements demand it. Audit actual edit permissions before purchasing developer seats; job titles alone do not determine the billable role.
Frequently asked questions
Is UI Bakery priced per user?
The public paid Cloud prices are per developer. Workspace viewers and public app users have separate rules, so not every app user is a paid developer.
What is the cheapest paid Cloud plan?
Builder is $25 per developer monthly, or $20 per month with annual billing, totaling $240 per developer per year.
Are public app users unlimited?
The current comparison says yes. This does not remove the separate limit on private workspace viewers.
Does Team include SSO?
Custom SSO is listed under Enterprise. Confirm your identity-provider requirement in the quote.
Does self-hosting mean the same total cost?
No. These calculations cover Cloud. A self-hosted deployment also needs its own license terms, infrastructure, and maintenance budget.
To compare the same operational app, start a Jet Admin prototype and test the access rules with both builders and viewers.
