Jotform pricing starts with the free Starter plan. Standard paid plans cost $39/month for Bronze, $49 for Silver, and $129 for Gold; annual billing lowers their monthly equivalents to $34, $39, and $99. The best plan depends on the first limit your intake process reaches, which may be payments or storage rather than total submissions.

What each plan includes
Starter: test an intake process
Starter is useful when a small number of forms and responses is enough and Jotform branding is acceptable. Its 100 monthly submissions are shared across the account. A single busy form can consume the allowance, even if the other forms receive nothing.
Bronze: the first paid step
Bronze suits a single form owner who needs more room and branding removal. It includes 1 GB of upload space and 100 monthly payment submissions. Check both limits when forms accept files or payments; neither is the same as the general response allowance.
Silver: more capacity for the same owner model
Silver increases upload space to 10 GB and monthly payment submissions to 250. It can fit a growing intake process, but collaboration requirements still need a separate check. Do not share an individual login as a substitute for evaluating the appropriate team arrangement.
Gold and Enterprise: different upgrade reasons
Gold provides the highest standard self-service limits and makes HIPAA-enabled features available. Enterprise is the multiuser offering. Treat regulated data handling as a configuration and contractual requirement; buying a tier is not a complete compliance implementation. Jotform plan FAQ.
How Jotform calculates your bill
Subscription cost = the price of the lowest plan meeting all required limits and capabilities. Then add external payment processing and other purchased services. This is a tier-selection calculation, not a published per-response overage formula.
Distinguish monthly submissions from retained submission storage. Annual payment does not turn monthly allowances into a single annual pool. Payment submissions and signed documents also have their own monthly allowances. For example, an intake process can fit Bronze’s general responses while exceeding its payment cap. Official definitions of usage limits.
What does Jotform cost for an intake workflow?
Both examples assume one account owner, no HIPAA requirement, and form views and retained records within the selected plan’s limits. They exclude payment-provider fees, taxes, and implementation.
Scenario 1: 600 requests and 50 payments per month
| Input | Requirement / allowance | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Active forms | 10 / Bronze allows 25 | Included |
| Monthly submissions | 600 / 1,000 | Included |
| Monthly payment submissions | 50 / 100 | Included |
| Upload storage | 0.5 GB / 1 GB | Included |
| Bronze total | Monthly billing | $39/month |
| Annual alternative | 34 × 12 | $408/year |
Paying monthly for twelve months costs $468. Annual billing saves $60 for this stable workload. The annual price does not remove the need to monitor monthly caps.
Scenario 2: 2,000 requests and 200 payments per month
| Input | Requirement / allowance | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Active forms | 20 / Silver allows 50 | Included |
| Monthly submissions | 2,000 / 2,500 | Included |
| Monthly payment submissions | 200 / 250 | Included |
| Upload storage | 5 GB / 10 GB | Included |
| Silver total | Monthly billing | $49/month |
| Annual alternative | 39 × 12 | $468/year |
The first scenario outgrows Bronze as both requests and payment submissions rise. In this example Silver fits all stated requirements, so Gold is unnecessary. If a second administrator must work in the account, revisit the multiuser offering even if response volume stays unchanged.
Costs beyond the base plan
Keep payment processing, external automations, and downstream CRM charges separate from Jotform’s subscription. Estimate file retention before launch: attachment-heavy requests can consume storage long before a response cap is reached. Put an export and retention process in place rather than treating deletion as a casual billing workaround.
Jotform offers eligible education and nonprofit discounts and sometimes promotions. Model standard renewal pricing unless your organization has confirmed eligibility and renewal terms. A discounted first year is not proof of the ongoing cost. Discount and renewal details.
Jet Admin and Jotform: intake versus ongoing operations
Keep Jotform when the main job is collecting forms, payments, or signed documents. Consider Jet Admin when the team also needs an application for reviewing records, assigning work, and making controlled updates across connected data. The form can remain the intake layer; an integration must move the required data into the operational system.
Jet Admin Pro is $20/month or $192/year. Business is $100/month or $960/year and includes granular permissions, SSO, and audit logs. With monthly billing, Silver plus Business has a known subscription subtotal of $149/month, before integration and other usage. This is an additional operational layer, not a claim that Jet replaces Jotform’s payment or signature functions. Jet Admin pricing.

Which plan should you choose?
Start with the free plan for a low-volume test. Choose Bronze or Silver by checking all caps against your busiest month and expected retained files. Evaluate Gold for its specific limits or capabilities. Ask for Enterprise when multiple administrators or enterprise requirements drive the decision.
Frequently asked questions
Is Jotform free?
Starter is free within its allowances and includes Jotform branding. It is not the same as unrestricted production capacity.
Is Bronze billed at $34 every month?
That is its annual monthly equivalent. The standard month-to-month price is $39.
Are submission allowances per form?
The monthly submission allowance is account-wide. Count responses across all forms before choosing a tier.
Does a higher paid plan automatically add more administrators?
No. Starter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold are listed as individual plans. Evaluate the multiuser offering separately.
